Chitwan National Park, formally called Royal national Park is covering the area of 932 SQ.KMs. It is just 5 hours drive from Kathmandu, 4 hours drive from Pokhara and just a 20 minutes flight from Kathmandu. It is recognized as best managed park in Asia which is said the home of 55 species of amphibians, 50 species of mammals and 525 species of birds.

One-horned Asian Rhinoceros, Gaur, Wild Bison, sloth Bear, four different species of Deer, the Rhesus Monkey and the black-faced Langour, the spotted Leopard, Royal Bengal Tiger, the fish-eating Gharial, the flesh-eating marsh Crocodile and the Genetic Dolphin.
